1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and optionally your school invite code. For students using school-sponsored access, we store your school affiliation. For parent accounts, we store a link to your child's profile. For individual purchases, we collect payment-related information as described in Section 5.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve our educational services: creating and managing your account, tracking lesson progress and quiz scores, displaying leaderboards (using your first name only), linking parent accounts to student accounts, enabling Battle quiz challenges and Friends Chat with other students, and processing course purchases.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security enabled. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only you, your linked parent (if applicable), and authorized administrators can access your information.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Partner schools receive aggregate progress reports for their students only. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, which receives the information necessary to complete a transaction (see Section 5). We do not share data with advertisers.
5. Payments
If you purchase course access individually, your name, email, and payment amount are shared with Razorpay, our payment processor, to complete the transaction. We store the order status and amount but never store your card, UPI, or bank details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay under its own privacy policy. School access is arranged separately through invoicing and is not processed through this in-app payment flow.
6. Battle, Games & Friends Chat
Battle quiz questions may be generated using AI (via the Groq API) based on lesson content you've already completed; no personal information is sent to generate these questions. Friends Chat messages are visible only to you and the friend you're messaging, are automatically deleted after 2 days, and can be deleted from your own view at any time. Game scores and play activity are stored to enforce daily play limits and power the leaderboard.
7. AI Help Widget
When you use the AI help widget, your questions are sent to our secure server which forwards them to the Groq AI API. Your questions and the AI's responses are not stored permanently. The API key is kept server-side and never exposed in the browser.
8. Children's Privacy
This platform is designed for students in grades 6–9 (ages 11–15). We collect minimal personal information — only what's necessary to provide the educational service. Friends Chat is limited to mutually-accepted friends only, with no media sharing and automatic message expiry. Parents can request access to or deletion of their child's data at any time.
9. Your Rights
You can request to view, export, or permanently delete your data at any time — either by using the "Delete Account" option in Settings, which immediately and permanently removes your account and associated data, or by contacting us directly. Parent accounts can manage data access for their linked child's account.
